Bipolar: A non-formal look at it, (Update)

Hey guys,
Well, things aren’t going as well as I planned. I have to go into an in-patient facility. I had already been going as a day patient, but I feel this is a step in the wrong direction. I’m hoping that the New Year will bring new achievements and opportunities. I was thinking about what my goals are for the New Year. Here are some of the main ones:

I want to feel well and in a good state.

I want to lose weight.

I want to feel more confident and build up my self esteem.

I want to do at least five gigs.

I want to never go back into hospital.

I want to go to school.

I want to be able to handle stress appropriately.

Those are the only ones I can think about.

What are yours? Leave a comment telling me your goals for the year 2012!

Merry Christmas, and feel happy,

Clare xx

Bipolar Disorder: A non-formal look at it.

Hey again! So I thought I’d talk about something a little different. My sister recommended that I devote my blog to Bipolar in teens and adults…So, this is what I’m going to do; because there didn’t seem to be much about bipolar on the internet when I was diagnosed…So it was a little scary for me. Anything that was on the internet was very formal and frightening. It was mostly doctors who ran these pages. I’ve had bipolar two years, I was diagnosed in December 2009. I’m now fourteen. I go through struggles day to day. Sometimes my mood would be Up and down more than 4-5 times a day, then other times I would have a high or low episode for more than a week. At the moment I am in a day hospital. I have been there 3 times before in the last two years but if it can make me feel better it’s worth a shot!
Usually when I’m high I can’t stay still, my thoughts race ALOT and I get irritable but overly happy, I also do alot of creative things.
Then when I’m in a low mood, I don’t leave the house I cry alot and I listen to sad music I also lose all creative motivation.

I’m gonna leave it at that. I’ll update every week or sometimes twice a week depending on how I’m feeling.

Have a Merry Christmas!!! ❤
